“I got into Real Estate to provide sellers & buyers a fair and level playing field so that in the end, both feel good about the transaction.”
My wife, Tonee, and I moved to Garrison in 1987. It is here that we’ve raised our twin daughters, McKaila and McKenzie. It’s where we purchased our first home and it’s where I sold my first home as a realtor in 1999.
I was raised in the small town of Inkster, North Dakota in the north eastern part of the state (and the only I in North Dakota!). After graduating from Midway High School, I moved to Fargo, where I attended North Dakota State University and earned by bachelor’s degree in animal science.
In 1999, I became a licensed Realtor ® with Coldwell Banker 1st Minot Realty and worked in the Garrison office. In 2013, I became a licensed Broker and opened my own Real Estate firm, West Inkster Realty. In addition to real estate, I also have been an insurance agent since 1997, becoming owner agent of Garrison Insurance in 2018.
In the 30+ years that I’ve called Garrison my home, I’ve had the privilege to be a part of a variety of community organizations and projects that have made Garrison such a great place to live. I’m involved with the Garrison Chamber of Commerce (President, 2000), North Dakota Firefighter’s Museum (President, 2010-current), Garrison Volunteer Fire Department (1988-current, Assistant Chaplain, 2000-current), volunteer projectionist at the local KOTA theatre operated by the Sakakawea Area Council for the Arts (SACA), Beach Party Committee, Garrison Convention & Visitors’ Bureau Board Member (2006-current) and have been involved with the Garrison Area Improvement Association (local economic development group) since it’s inception in 1991.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, golfing, fishing, gardening, and spending time with my family, including my two beagles, Rocco the Realty Dog and Copper the Coverage Dog!
“Small Town Service where a handshake is better than a stack of paper,” I look forward to working with you!
